Our aim at Mungo Lodge is to ensure your stay with us is just
not
a comfortable bed to sleep in, but a unique experience that
will
stay
with you forever.
Careful consideration has been given
to
the design of the Lodge to ensure comfort
and style whilst appreciating the vast, unforgiving, spectacular surrounds.
The main lodge is a meeting place for locals and guests to share tales and discoveries. Guest can choose to relax by one of the two open fireplaces, choose a book from the library, share a game of cards, challenge the hosts to a game of chess, watch TV on the large LCD screen or just sit back, and savour a cold beer or quality glass of local wine.
During the summer months, the large open aired, outdoor deck
is a majestic place to experience a true ‘outback evening’ under
the stars. |

Seventeen guest rooms, in 9 fully renovated cabins command excellent viewing of the unique surrounds. They are a careful blend of the environment coupled with touches of outback luxury. Modern furnishings, local artworks, and sophisticated amenities are provided to enhance your experience.

All cabins have uninterrupted views of arid landscape from a private rear decking.
Each cabin features spacious interiors, with natural hues of brown & vanilla. Pieces include carefully selected local aboriginal art with the bathroom designed in a contemporary style, fitted
in pale sandstone, featuring a large eco friendly shower head.
NB: Hairdryers are available from reception.
In line with our commitment to environmental conservation
we encourage
the limited use of appliances with heating elements.
Our generator system
does not function adequately for appliances with heating elements. |
