We are an Authentic Outback Property

Please be aware of that you may see some snakes or spiders during your stay. We have gravel paths between the main lodge and the cabins. All guests are encouraged to walk on these paths.

Eco - Tourism

As part of our commitment to Eco Tourism & our remote location, Mungo lodge is focused on saving water & energy. We ask all guests to help us protect our environment.  We have recently been certified with the Australian Eco Tourism Certificate.


There is no petrol available at Mungo National Park. Please be sure to fill your tanks before your arrival.

No pets are permitted at Mungo Lodge.

Mobile Phone Coverage

Please note that there is no mobile phone coverage.


Dress is comfortable casual at Mungo Lodge.

We advise bringing comfortable walking shoes, a wide brimmed hat, sunscreen and insect repellent. Nights can be very cold, so please make sure you bring a warm jumper or jacket.

To truly discover Mungo National Park: undoubtedly one of Australia’s best kept secrets, we recommend a 2 night stay.

Restaurant and Catering

Our Restaurant is open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Mungo Lodge also has a selection of picnic lunches available, including a choice of fresh salads, homemade quiches and other light meals.
